Preventative Maintenance (PM) Service Special
Often overlooked is the benefits of regularly scheduled Preventive
Maintenance (PM) Service. Benefit from down time when it's convenient,
and not during peak production!
With the ever growing usage of stretch wrap, GAP Services has observed
that:
-
More units are going into branch plants and warehouses which do
not have in-house mechanics or electricians to do regular preventive
maintenance on equipment, which is required so as to guarantee uptime
and to not void warranties.
-
With the advances made in the industry, units are becoming more
complicated and expensive, resulting in higher service bills for repairs
if regular preventive maintenance is not performed.
-
Even companies with their own in-house staff often do not have the
expertise to maintain and fine tune a pre-stretch system which can
result in wasted film usage and the shipping of unsecured loads.
GAP Services has designed a PM Service during which a factory
trained service technician will check your wrapper (no matter what make),
and perform the following operations:
-
Oiling, greasing and lubrication (materials supplied).
-
Tighten all nuts, bolts, gears, chains and electrical connections.
-
Check for wear and abuse damage.
-
Check and recalibrate all systems to guarantee maximum operating
and film use efficiency.
-
Check and report on all consumable and moving parts.
-
Test line voltages and amperage draw
