- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Service
- With the ever growing usage of stretch wrap, G.A.P.
has observed that:
- More units are going into branch plants and warehouses which
do not have in-house mechanics or electricians to do the regular
PM's on equipment which are required so as not to void warranties.
- With the advances made in the industry units are becoming more
complicated and expensive, resulting in higher service bills for
repairs if regular preventive maintenance is not performed.
- Even companies with their own in-house staff often do not have
the expertise to maintain and fine tune a pre-stretcher which can
result in wasted film and shipping unsecured loads.
- G.A.P. Has designed
a PM call during which a factory trained service technician will check
your machine (no matter what make), and perform the following operations:
- Oiling, greasing and lubrication (materials supplied).
- Tighten all nuts, bolts, gears, chains and electrical connections.
- Check for wear and abuse damage.
- Check and recalibrate all systems to guarantee maximum operating
and film use efficiency.
- Check and report on all consumable and moving parts.
- Test line voltages and amperage draw.
